Hello world!
It's been ages since my last post and a recent
comment prompted my memory of the existence of this blog. Life's funny
the way it brings you back into things! Since moving to Portland in 2013
I've been through a whole slew of life events, some more sad than
others. In 2015 I vowed to have straight teeth in preparation for my
wedding later that year (which ultimately I ended up getting divorced
but this isn't that kind of blog, so I digress, trust that this was a
happy ending). Anyways, I had braces placed on in February 2015 and had
them removed just before the wedding in August so I wasn't a
"brace-face" in all of my wedding photos. During the 6 months of wearing
the braces, I also used an accelerating device each night called an
"Acceledent" which guarantees to speed up the time that you are in
braces. When the time came to have the braces put on after the wedding
had taken place, the ortho stated that my teeth were as straight as they
were going to be and not not worry about having them placed back on
again. I was absolutely thrilled! I truly believe that the use of the
DNA Appliance primed my jaw and gums in order to accelerate the process
that much further when the time came that I had braces applied. A
pre-cursor to an amazing smile if you will, I still recommend the use of
the DNA appliance to anyone that is on the fence about it. Here's some
updated photos of life after braces!
Thanks for publishing all your progress! Do you have any further updates? Do you continue to wear the DNA as a retainer?
